Acceptable use for Software from the UMass MSDN-AA Site

The software from this site is ONLY for use by full time Members of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst

The software from the MSDNAA Site is to be used for instructional/research but not for Infrastructure. This does not translate to mean that it can be used for academics or the support of academics on campus. Below I have grouped together some examples of use and indicated if it is acceptable or not.

Use on Servers that support Classrooms or Departmental Labs that teach Microsoft Products or are used to do research with Microsoft Products Yes
Use on Servers that support Classrooms or Departmental Labs that DO NOT teach Microsoft Products or are NOT used to do research with Microsoft Products Yes But NO if server is soley for infrastructure – must be used for instruction or research.
     
OFF CAMPUS LOCATIONS – Must be owned by University of Massachusetts at Amherst
